Michael G. Dickerson

CEO and Managing Partner

Mike brings 20+ years of operational, staff, and programmatic experience across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and private sector to Tacitus clients. He has held operational leadership roles at ODNI, NRO, DIA, and the Joint Staff, with over a decade at Booz Allen Hamilton managing IC program portfolios.

His federal service includes Staff Director for Mission Integration at ODNI, Chief of Staff of the National Intelligence Management Council, Chief of Operations at the Office of the IC Chief Financial Officer, Chief of HR Operations at NRO, and various other enterprise and component office and program management roles across the most complex operational environments in the national security enterprise.

At Booz Allen, he managed IC task order portfolios exceeding $200M and led delivery teams supporting the community's most sensitive programs. Mike's operations and staff background covers the full spectrum: process design, organizational optimization, communications, HR operations and workforce strategy, mission execution, intelligence integration, program management, fiscal discipline and programming, and senior front office leadership.

Mike founded The Tacitus Group to bring agency-level operational pedigree to the growth-stage GovCon market — putting senior operators inside leadership teams instead of handing them another deck.
